The Missing Proteins And Organic Vegetables That Your Body NeedsWhen considering a high protein diet plan that will be used in conjunction with low-carbohydrate diet¡ one should consider, and learn from, the mistakes done with what was originally called the 'Atkins Diet'. Originally called the Atkins Nutritional Approach, this was the original name for what was later called the Atkins diet. Since Dr. Robert Atkins was overweight, he invented a diet for himself, which he later published in 1972. Because the diet was lacking in certain things, it wasn't a perfect diet. A high protein diet plan adds essential proteins which keep muscles from being transferred to energy once the fat reserves have been used up. Over the years he modified the diet, changing parts of it. It's a low-carbohydrate diet, which means that you limit or eliminate foods such as potatoes, all starches and sugars, fruit, wheat and wheat products such as flours, spaghetti, pizza, hamburger rolls, donuts and deserts of almost any kind. However, his diet was missing the essentials you get when you eat using a high protein diet plan.
Luckily, this rather insane "low-carb craze" dwindled until the company that was founded by Atkins filed for bankruptcy in 2005, two years after his death. However, there are definite good things to be obtained out of the research that his diet encouraged. A good high protein low carb diet plan is what you need. Supplementing protein, in conjunction with keeping your carbohydrates low, is the answer to reducing weight and maintaining a healthy body at the same time. With the Atkins diet, or low-carb diets which don't encourage enough proteins to be taken by your system, after the fats in your body have been transferred to energy your body will start breaking down muscle proteins unless you supply proteins to your body during that process. And, you shouldn't be so completely obsessive about eliminating starches from your body that you do it damage. A high protein diet plan coupled with supplementation with a protein drink, in conjunction with a healthy eating organic vegetarian diet is essential to establish a full range of nutrition for your body's needs. An easy to live-by healthy eating diet that consists of organic vegetables, a limited number of complex carbohydrates such as bran, oatmeal, whole wheat, wheat berries, and such coupled with a high protein diet plan will help your body maintain the highest of function under stressful situations. In conjunction with a good exercise regimen, it will strengthen and invigorate your body. Nothing is better for your body than a lo-carb healthy vegetarian diet that's supplemented with protein. A high protein diet plan should include (all organic) green leafy vegetables such as spinach, Swiss chard, broccoli, Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, olive oil (very important to supply the GLAs the body needs), supplements of hemp or flax oil (edible quality linseed oil) all of which contain healthy amounts of what are called Gamma Linoleic Acids, or GLAs. A healthy vegan diet plan is the way to go, supplemented with high protein drinks containing whey powder. Make sure you use organic fruits and vegetables, as the nervous system reacts poorly when you're exposed to continuous amounts of residual pesticides which may be on the fruits and vegetables. |
