It's hard to eat too much olive oil; after all, it has a taste that isn't all that great and that taste doesn't go with everything. You should supplement olive oil that you're using with other healthy oils such as the little-known hemp oil, or flax oil. Maintaining a healthy eating diet is the most important thing to keep in mind. Health is what you're wishing for, and secondarily your body will start becoming trimmer as your desire to eat more healthy foods increases. Don't fool yourself, if you eat lots of bagels, pizza, spaghetti and sugar, you'll gain weight. America's diet is just filled with sugar; it's very difficult to eat any processed food without also getting sugar in it.
Low-carb is always the way to go. If you don't know what 'carb' means yet, then it's time to start learning. Carb stands for carbohydrate, it means starch or sugar. The starches which will put on the weight the fastest are the ones which are also combined with sugar. Add to that a glass of wine¡ you got another carbohydrate. Most of the ones I mentioned are all from white processed flour, also; which means unhealthy. White flour is bleached, and that bleaching process leaves residues behind that still act as an antibiotic. When you eat tons of white processed flour for a long time, you're going to be killing off your friendly bacteria and encouraging unhealthy levels of an unhealthy intestinal yeast called Candida albicans to flourish. So, vegetables, fruit and vegetables is what you should be thinking. How about cooking yourself a wonderful low fat cabbage soup tonight? Here's a great Cabbage Soup Recipe that you might try: 1 / 2 Head of Cabbage Instructions. Dice green and yellow onions, saut¨¦ with a soy-based cooking spray to keep the fat levels down until yellow onions turn transparent. Cut the green pepper in half, break the stem end out, remove seeds, and slice in two. Dice the green pepper and add to the pot. Dice the yellow onion so the pieces are about 1/4" big. Slice the mushrooms thickly, adding them to the pot. Add the chicken broth and flavorings; season to taste. Other things you might try, a shake of basil; but don't overdo.
